Following the recent retirement of our minister, Rev. Duncan Macleod, the Dornoch Free Church congregation has entered into a period of ‘vacancy’ as the prayerful search for a new minister begins. As this may be a new experience for some, or since you may be unfamiliar with how a Presbyterian system works at times like this, we thought it would be a good idea to put together a ‘rough guide’ as an explanation of what this means and some of the procedures we will need to go through to appoint a new minister (in as simple terms as possible!). Below you can also find details of who we have invited to preach over the coming weeks.
