Hope Explored

Join us for Hope Explored, in the Milk & Honey cafe, Dornoch. Thursday 21st, 28th April & 5th May, from 7 to 8:30pm.

There are few emotions more powerful than hope. But these days, hope often feels hard to come by. Where can we find a hope that won’t disappoint us?

Looking at the life, death and resurrection of Jesus in Luke’s Gospel, this three-session series shows that Christianity is about real hope: a joyful expectation for the future, based on true events in the past, which changes everything about my present.

It sounds good… but is it true? Whatever you believe, Hope Explored offers you an opportunity to explore, to discuss and to discover the hope, peace and purpose Jesus offers.

With only three sessions, Hope Explored does not require a huge time commitment from you, so it is one of the easiest ways to discover what Christianity is about.

Who is Hope Explored for?
It’s for anyone who is looking for hope. Whether you have previous experience of Church, Christians and the Bible, or none at all, this course is for you. Everyone is welcome!

What goes on?
We try to run the course in-person where we can, but when restrictions deem it necessary we run it on Zoom. There’s a video to watch, a dip into an account of Jesus’ life and something to discuss. We start at 7.30pm with a cup of tea and end the evening by 9.00pm.

Of course, if you wish, you are welcome to stick around a bit longer and discuss any further issues you might have. What’s more, you can ask any question you like, at any time during the course.

When does it start?
We are planning to run Hope Explored in the Milk & Honey cafe, on three consecutive Thursday (21st, 28th April & 5th May) from 7 to 8:30pm.
